New Autumn Menu

Our new dinner and weekend menu has now begun with lots of new contenders now on the list. Jalapeno & Smoked Cheddar Croquettes, Valdeon & Walnut Salad, Whole Salt Roasted Trout, Moorish Lamb Skewers and much much more. Served from 6pm mon- friday and all day on the weekends. Yum.

Lots of new guys on our new wine list from NSW, Spain NZ, Argentina and back again. By the glass and bottle daily.

Specials


Chef Jamie Thomas & team have been keeping themselves super busy in the kitchen with a selection of new hits coming over the pass daily. These have included fried padron peppers, braised tripe with white beans & ox tongue, fried octopus, morcilla and red beans, Moorish lamb, flatbread & smoked eggplant and a grilled chorizo & spanner crab mayo roll. Some last a few hours, some last the whole week, and some sneak themselves onto the menu, so try your luck and head in to get a taste

$10 Burger Wednesday


Every week we serve out a for-Wednesday-night-only $10 menu of our 4 house burgers. That’s Fried Chicken & Slaw, Shark & Romesco, Mushroom, Lamb & Chilli Yoghurt and the occasional burger special, all with fries, every Wednesday. Not bad for getting over that middle of the week hump.

Desserts


The kitchen crew has also been changing things up at the sweet end of the menu, with new daily(ish) dessert specials. A banana tart w sticky date icecream, maple pannacotta w milk sorbet & figs, goats curd tart w summer berries & cherry icecream AND a super fiendish chocolate torta w pears have all made a show in the last few weeks. Lots of other new teeth rotting items coming up soon as well. Watch out for the fried-milk shake!

New Years Eve at The Carrington!! Food! Booze! You!. Large group bookings, late bookings, small bookings, early bookings are all available. No set menu, no minimum spend, no guestlist, no LMFAO, no (bloody) worries. Come join us to drink & dine in the new year.

$3 Pintxos

Every Tuesday we serve out a seven(ish) item menu of $3 pintxos (that’s mini Spanish bites on a skewer) from 6-10pm. That’s seriously tasty mouthfuls for seriously un-serious prices. The last few weeks have been growing and growing so get down on a Tuesday before the seats fill up and you are left skewerless on the sidewalk.
